The Education and Culture Attaché Office of the Indonesian Embassy in Canberra organized the Indonesia Goes to School program at Melrose High School over two days (5–6 August 2025).
In this program, the Atdikbud team was assisted by students from the Indonesia University of Education (Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia) and Semarang State University (Universitas Negeri Semarang). These students are currently serving as assistant Indonesian language teachers at several schools in Canberra.
This edition of Indonesia Goes to School featured a performance of the Rentak Bulian dance from Riau. In addition to the performance, Melrose High School students were also given the opportunity to directly learn the movements of the Rentak Bulian dance.
